Yahara River Parkway Marker
501 S. Thorton Avenue
The Yahara River Parkway was designed by Ossian Cole Simonds and is an excellent, intact example of the Prairie Style of landscape design. A grand plan of the parkway was presented in 1903 by John N. Olin. The project was completed in 1906.
The historical marker was proposed by the Trust in 1995 and dedicated in 1997.
